PoolSpace reserves the right to remove any Pool that presents elevated regulatory or reputational risk.
Users may not provide false or misleading information, misrepresent identity or affiliation, circumvent Stripe identity verification, use unauthorized payment methods, submit stolen financial instruments, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operations, use bots or scraping tools, transmit malware, or engage in denial-of-service attacks.
Organizers and Recipients must provide accurate legal and identity information, complete Stripe's identity verification procedures, ensure the Recipient has consented to receive funds, and use collected funds only for the stated Pool purpose.
Once a Pool receives its first Contribution, the designated Recipient may not be changed and payout details may not be altered without additional verification.
Contributions are processed through the Organizer's connected Stripe account as payments are made. Pool closing stops new contributions but does not create a separate payout trigger controlled by PoolSpace.
Misuse of funds may result in suspension and reporting to authorities.
Contributors must use valid and authorized payment methods, review Pool details before contributing, and comply with applicable age and jurisdictional restrictions.
PoolSpace may suspend or terminate accounts, remove or disable Pools, restrict access to features, and require additional verification.
PoolSpace does not directly hold or reverse funds. Stripe may delay or block transactions, freeze or restrict payouts, reverse transactions in accordance with card network rules, or terminate accounts for compliance reasons.
PoolSpace is not responsible for Stripe's compliance decisions.
PoolSpace may share information with Stripe, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and law enforcement where required by law, payment network rules, or fraud prevention obligations.
PoolSpace does not control user conduct and is not responsible for the truthfulness of Pool content, how funds are used after payout, disputes between users, chargebacks, or payment reversals.
Users assume all risk associated with participating in Pools.
Use of PoolSpace is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and Stripe's policies, Stripe's policies govern payment-related matters.
PoolSpace may update this AUP at any time. Updates are effective upon posting.
This AUP is governed by the laws specified in the PoolSpace Terms of Use.
